Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Thursday evening in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The man, 20, was shot in the lower back shortly after 6 p.m. in the 12400 block of South Union Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in “stable” condition, Pacheco said.
