Bar Louie to add 6 restaurants here

Bar Louie plans to add six restaurants in the Chicago area.

Windy City Restaurant Management has signed a franchise agreement with the Addison, Texas-based casual dining and neighborhood bar chain. The first of Windy City’s restaurants is expected to open by the end of the year. Bar Louie has 13 restaurants in the Chicago area and about 80 nationwide.

“Our growth and success thus far in 2014 is a true testament to our franchisee partners and unique bar/restaurant concept,” said John Neitzel, chief executive officer of Bar Louie. “Having been around since 1990, we are thrilled at the growth we saw last year and look forward to expanding our brand’s presence across the country over the next few years.”

Bar Louie expects to open 16 restaurants this year, and wants to open 100 company-owned and 100 franchise locations during the next five years.
