All inbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) were temporarily closed early Wednesday when a semi truck crashed and caught fire.

The truck crashed about 4:15 a.m. on inbound I-90/94 near Division Street, Illinois State Police Sgt. Henry Spight said.

The semi caught fire, but no one was injured in the crash, Spight said.

All inbound lanes of the expressway were reopened about 5:20 a.m., but the exit ramp to Division Street remained closed as crews worked to clear the roadway, police said. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
