SHARE Neopost rolls Best Way Technologies into new firm

Logistics software developer Best Way Technologies LLC has been bought by Neopost S.A. and folded into a new company, ProShip Inc.

ProShip is a combination of Best Way, which was based in Chicago, and Systems and Programming Solutions Inc., based in Brookfield, Wis. The companies had a combined revenue of $10 million in 2013, Neopost said.

The global provider of mail solutions and logistics bought both companies from the same owner. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

The companies’ 60 employees, most of them software developers, were retained by ProShip.

“The companies provide Neopost customers worldwide with an enterprise shipping solution that they can use to move large numbers of parcels every day,” said Mark Aument, a Neopost senior vice president.
