Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot Thursday morning in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old was standing on the street in the 5400 block of South Winchester Avenue about 10:30 a.m. when he was shot in the arm, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in “stable” condition, Sullivan said.
