Police say a robber is stealing cologne from shops in the Loop, and threatening security officers with weapons if he’s seen.

In all three incidents, the robber stole bottles of cologne without paying, then threatened the use of a weapon—either a gun, knife or mace—when confronted by store security.

He then ran out of the stores without anyone being injured, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.

All three robberies occurred in the 0-100 block of North State Street—about 8 p.m. May 8; 12:45 p.m. May 27; and 3:20 p.m. March 10, police said.
