SHARE Wells Street Bridge lift temporarily disrupts Brown Line

CTA Brown Line service was temporarily disrupted in the Loop early Wednesday afternoon because of an extended bridge lift.

The Wells Street Bridge was raised as part of the Department of Transportation’s bridge renewal project, according to the CTA.

As of 12:50 p.m., trains are moving again between Merchandise Mart and the Loop, according to the CTA, though there may be residual delays.
