(GARY, Ind.) A northwest woman died two days after being struck by a vehicle last week.

Letajonique Larry, 23, was discovered hurt in the 4500 block of West 23rd Avenue in Gary about 10:15 p.m. on April 29, according to Gary police Cpl. Gabrielle King.

Witnesses told police that a fight had taken place and afterwards, Larry was struck by a vehicle, King said.

Larry, of the 3900 block of West 21st Street in Gary, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where she died at 4:09 p.m. on May 2, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

An autopsy Wednesday was inconclusive pending results of the police investigation, according to the medical examiner’s office.
