Lightning can be deadly and destructive, but when captured in a photo (like it was above last summer) or in video, it can provide some incredible imagery.

And when lightning is captured in slow motion, it can be truly stunning.

This video was shot yesterday in the Netherlands and shows the lightning slowly crawling across the sky as if it’s being drawn by an Etch A Sketch, then fading away, only to be replaced by the next strike.
