Red Robin to land in the city

Red Robin will open its first location in Chicago proper next week, joining the burger chain’s 17 suburban locations.

The city’s first restaurant is set to open Monday at 328 N. Michigan Ave., the Chicago Tribune reported. Another location will be opening a week later at 20 E. Chicago, just east of the Chicago Red Line station.

The city locations will be a more compact version of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, known as Red Robin’s Burger Works. The Burger Works model lets customers build their own burgers and order the Red Robin classics.
