Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man missing from a homeless shelter in the South Loop who may be in need of medical attention.

Chemin Terrero, 37, was reported missing from the Pacific Garden Mission, at 1458 S. Canal St., according to an endangered missing person alert Chicago Police issued Friday.

Terrero is described as a black Hispanic man, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, weighing between 140 and 150 pounds, with brown eyes, brown receding hair and a missing front tooth, police said. He has “Chemin” tattooed across his chest.

Police said Terrero may be in need of medical attention.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
