A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 32-year-old told officers he was shot in the abdomen just after 10 a.m. in the 4400 block of South Princeton Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper said.

He walked into Provident Hospital of Cook County and was later transferred in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Cooper said.
