A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Sunday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened in the 6400 block of South King Drive about 4:50 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

The 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back and was in critical condition at the scene, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is “very uncooperative.”
