Man robs North Side bank

A man robbed a bank on the North Side Tuesday afternoon.

The man walked into the North Community Bank at 2758 W. Belmont Ave. about 3 p.m., according to police and the FBI.

He implied he had a weapon and ran off after the robbery with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, believed to be in his 30s, about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, according to the FBI. He was wearing a tan hat and a gray shirt.
