Floyd's 99 opens in Schaumburg

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop has opened in Schaumburg, the growing chain’s ninth shop in the Chicago area.

The company, which bills itself as the “Original Rock ‘N Roll Barbershop,” has six shops in the city and ones in LaGrange and Park Ridge too. The Denver-based chain founded in 2001 operates 74 barbershops nationwide.

“We are thrilled to be growing our presence in the Chicago market with the opening of our ninth shop in the area,” district manager Danny Munsif said. “Our one-of-a-kind atmosphere and old-school customer service model are what keep clients coming back to us for quality haircuts at a value. We are looking forward to bringing the unique Floyd’s flare to Schaumburg, and becoming an integral part of this great neighborhood.”

Floyd’s 99 also is launching its own line of men’s hair care products called Floyd’s 99 Grooming.
