Two shot in South Shore

Two people, including a 16-year-old boy, were shot in the South Shore neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting happened about 12:40 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Exchange Avenue, police said.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the left leg, police said. His condition or hospital information was not immediately known.
