(OSWEGO) Four masked men broke into a west suburban home early Tuesday and took off after the robbery in a stolen vehicle.

The four masked, or partially masked, men were armed with handguns when they broke into a home in the 300 block of Hemlock Lane in Oswego about 3 a.m. and stole phones and keys from six people, according to a statement from Oswego police.

The suspects took off after the robbery in a white 2011 Audi Q7 with Illinois license plate V701752, police said. The car was recently purchased out of state.

Two of the victims were battered during the robbery and were treated at the scene, but refused to be taken to hospitals, police said.

According to the statement, the home and its occupants were targeted by the suspects. Police said the victims are uncooperative and refuse to be interviewed.

A handgun was found at the scene, and a search is under way for the stolen vehicle, police said.
