Man shot in Pilsen

A man was shot in the Pilsen neighborhood early Saturday.

The man, 31, suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder about 1:10 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Allport Street, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.

He took himself to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in good condition.

Gaines said the shooting is possibly a drive-by.
