A man was shot early Sunday in the South Side Washington Heights neighborhood.

The 25-year-old man was walking in the 9600 block of South Vincennes Avenue about 4:45 a.m. when two males walked up and fired shots, police said.

The man was shot in the right shoulder and taken with non-life-threatening injuries to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers, police said.
