A teenager was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday morning in the South Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

The 16-year-old boy was shot in the back during an argument in the 2300 block of West 68th Street at 11:40 a.m., police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in serious condition.

A police source said the teen has gang affiliations.
