Man shot in Humboldt Park

A man was shot Wednesday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 8:45 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Crystal, police said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition is stable, police said.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
