(GLENWOOD) An elderly woman died Sunday afternoon after she was involved in a crash in south suburban Glenwood.

Isabell Foster, 86, died at St. James Health in Chicago Heights at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Foster was involved in a crash at 182nd and Halsted in Glenwood, according to the medical examiner’s office. Glenwood police could not be reached for comment Monday afternoon.

An autopsy Monday found Foster died of multiple injuries from a crash, and heart disease and diabetes were listed as contributing factors. Her death was ruled an accident.
