One person was hurt in a fire Friday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

Firefighters responded to the blaze about 7:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of South May, Fire Media Affairs said.

The person — whose age and gender were not immediately known — was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park in good condition, Fire Media Affairs said.
