SHARE Uber leases West Loop space: report

Ridesharing company Uber Technologies could be on the move in Chicago. The company projected in July that it would add 425 people to its staff in Chicago, Uber’s Midwest headquarters, by the end of 2016. At that time, Uber had about 75 staffers here. Chicago Real Estate Daily reports the company has leased 58,000 square feet of office space at 111 N. Canal St. Uber now uses 12,000 square feet of space at 370 N. Carpenter St.
