A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side Saturday night.

Davontae Harrison was driving in the 3900 block of West Ferdinand about 6:50 p.m. when an “unknown person” opened fire and shot him in the chest, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Harrison kept driving until police were flagged down — either by the driver or someone else in the car — in the 3300 block of West Chicago, authorities said.

Harrison, of the 600 block of North Troy, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:37 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.
