(LAKE BLUFF) No one was hurt in a crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning in north suburban Lake Bluff.

The school bus, carrying about 30 students, was stopped on southbound Route 43 near Route 176 when it was rear-ended by a white 2006 Nissan Altima at 7:55 a.m., according to Lake County Sheriff’s Sgt. Sara Balmes.

No one was hurt, Balmes said.

The Nissan sustained some minor damage, and the female driver was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, Balmes said.
