A 69-year-old man who suffers from dementia was reported missing Sunday afternoon after leaving a rehabilitation center in the Douglas neighborhood on the South Side.

Derrick Joyner was last seen Sunday at the Bronzeville Park Rehabilitation Center at 3400 S. Indiana Ave. where he left without completing medical treatment, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Monday afternoon that Joyner had been found safe and reunited with family.
