One person was taken to a hospital after a porch collapsed Tuesday morning in the Far South Side Riverdale neighborhood.

The porch collapsed at a single-family home in the 13200 block of South Forrestville at 9:30 a.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

One person was taken to a hospital in fair-to-serious condition, according to Fire Media Affairs. No other injuries were reported.

A total of ten people—five adults and five children—were displaced from the home, according to fire media.
