SHARE Work on I-57, U.S. 30 in Matteson to disrupt traffic Monday

Bridge work is set to resume Monday on both directions of Lincoln Highway / U.S. 30 and Interstate I-57 in Matteson.

Traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one on westbound U.S. 30 and from three lanes to one on the eastbound side, according tto the Illinois Department of Transportation, which said the work is supposed to be finished by May.

No fatalities reported in Iowa as officials plan to demolish partially collapsed building
At least one person was injured and many residents and business owners have been displaced. Demolition is expected to begin Tuesday morning, the city says.
