A fire caused about $15,000 in damage and forced the closure of a pizzeria in west suburban Naperville on Friday afternoon.

The fire started just before 12:20 p.m. in a commercial cooking appliance at Rosati’s Pizza in the 1900 block of 95th Street, according to a statement from the Naperville Fire Department.

Sprinklers helped keep the fire contained, and no adjacent businesses were damaged, fire officials said.

No one was injured, but the pizzeria will remain closed until it can be repaired, fire officials said. The fire caused an estimated $15,000 in damage.
