Authorities removed 35 dogs from a home Wednesday in north suburban Glencoe.

Officers responding to a well-being check Wednesday in the 800 block of Greenwood Avenue found 35 dogs in the home, in excess of the maximum allowed under city laws, according to a statement from the Glencoe Department of public Safety.

The dogs were removed and placed in the care of local animal hospitals and animal shelters for medical examination and evaluation, authorities said.

As of early Sunday, no charges have been filed.
