DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2015

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with NATO Secretary-General Stoltenberg at the White House; the Vice President will also attend. The leaders will discuss the impact of Russia’s actions on the European security environment, NATO’s evolving effort to meet challenges from the south, and the alliance’s ongoing Resolute Support Mission to train, advise and assist the Afghan National Security Forces. They will also assess allied progress on the defense investment targets agreed at Wales, and share their priorities for the next NATO Summit in 2016. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this meeting in the Oval Office.

In the afternoon, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of Health and Human Services Burwell in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
