Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who went missing from the Hegewisch neighborhood on the Far South Side Friday.

Adria Martinez was wearing black running pants, a white hooded sweatshirt and a book bag when she was last seen in the 13300 block of South Houston, according to an alert from Chicago Police.

She is described as a 5-foot-1, 107-pound Hispanic girl with a tattoo of the number 43 on her upper thigh, police said.
