A man is in critical condition after he fell 10 feet Monday morning at a construction site in northwest suburban Woodstock.

Authorities responded to the 2200 block of Eastwood Drive at 9:48 a.m. and found a worker who had fallen through a hole in the second floor onto a concrete floor, according to the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.

The man was taken to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock, then flown by REACT helicopter to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, according to the fire district.

He was listed in critical condition.
