A female motorcyclist was critically wounded Friday night in a crash that injured two other people in the Bucktown neighborhood on the North Side.

About 11:55 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling northbound on North Hoyne when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a car traveling eastbound on West Armitage, according to preliminary information from police.

The female motorcyclist, whose exact age was not known, was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

Two occupants of the car were also taken to Stroger Hospital, where both of their conditions were stabilized, police said.
