A Chicago Police officer was injured in a two-vehicle crash downtown on Lake Shore Drive Thursday night.

A vehicle collided with the officer’s squad car at 10:25 p.m. on Lake Shore Drive near Monroe Street, police said, citing preliminary information.

The officer was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Three others, including the driver of the other vehicle, refused treatment, according to a fire official.
