Man missing from Niles

Police in north suburban Niles are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 63-year-old man.

Orin Baran is described as a 5-foot-9, 159-pound man with hazel eyes and brown hair, according to a statement from Niles police. He was last seen wearing a white and gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and white and gray sneakers.

He has ties to Westchester and has been known to frequent Buddhist temples, police said. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Niles Police Department at (847) 588-6500.
