A Logan Square neighborhood man died early Sunday after he was shot multiple times in south suburban Dolton.

Daniel Hampton, 25, was shot at Maxwell Street Polish, 1320 E. Sibley Blvd. in Dolton, according to a statement from the Lake County (Ind.) coroner’s office.

Hampton, of the 3300 block of West Fullerton, was taken to Franciscan St. Margaret Health in Hammond, where he was pronounced dead at 4:47 a.m., the coroner’s office said, ruling his death a homicide.

Additional details from the Dolton Police Department were not immediately available Sunday afternoon.
