A Cicero teen was killed in a traffic crash early Friday in the western suburb.

Jose Roque, 17, was hurt in a traffic crash about 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of 25th Street and 57th Court, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Roque, of the 5000 block of West 23rd Place, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where he was pronounced dead at 2:29 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy Friday found that he died of blunt force trauma from the crash and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

Further details from police were not immediately available Friday evening.
