A man was seriously injured when his vehicle rolled over on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Sunday on the South Side.

The one-vehicle crash happened about 5:40 a.m. on the inbound Dan Ryan Chinatown feeder ramp, according to Illinois State Police.

The man driving the vehicle was taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

As of 7:15 a.m., the ramp was open to traffic, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
