No one was hurt when an SUV crashed into a preschool Tuesday morning in north suburban Glenview.

The crash happened at Knowledge Beginnings preschool and child care center at 2401 Compass Rd. in Glenview at 7:14 a.m., according to Glenview Police Sgt. Jim Foley.

The driver was dropping someone off when they “had an accelerator issue,” jumped the curb and struck the building, Foley said.

No one was injured and the vehicle was towed from the scene, Foley said.

The driver was not cited.
