Man dies after Hammond crash

A 28-year-old man from northwest Indiana died Wednesday after a crash in Hammond.

Antonio de Jesus Guido, of the 1100 block of State Street in Hammond, died at 6:55 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He died of complications of multiple injuries from a vehicle hitting a fixed object, a Thursday autopsy found.

Hammond police could not immediately be reached for more details.
