A man who was pulled from Lake Michigan Tuesday morning on the Near North Side was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The Chicago Police Marine Unit responded to a person in the water in the 800 block of North Lake Shore Drive at 10:10 a.m., police said.

A 45-year-old man was pulled from the water and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
