A 1-year-old girl fell from the window of a third-floor apartment in South Chicago Saturday morning.

About 11:30 a.m., she fell from the building in the 8000 block of South Phillips, police said.

She was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where her condition stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating the incident, which appeared to be accidental, police said.
