A 54-year-old woman from the northwest suburbs died early Saturday after being by a vehicle in southwest suburban Tinley Park.

Arlington Heights resident Maria L. Domontay was hit on Oak Park Avenue about 800 feet east of Harlem and pronounced dead at the scene at 12:55 a.m., according to the Will County coroner’s office.

An autopsy found she died of multiple injuries in the crash but a ruling on the manner of death is pending police investigation.

Tinley Park police could not immediately be reached for comment.
