Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a five-vehicle crash on the Tri-State Tollway in the southwest suburbs Monday morning.

Three semi trucks and two other vehicles were involved in the crash in the northbound lanes of I-294 near 95th Street in Hickory Hills at 7:18 a.m., according to Illinois State Police.

The driver of one of the vehicles suffered a head injury and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Another driver suffered a hand injury, but refused medical attention.

Three northbound lanes were closed for the accident investigation and cleanup, but had reopened as of 8:30 a.m., police said.
