A gas station in northwest suburban Des Plaines sold a $750,000 winning lottery ticket for a Lucky Day Lotto drawing earlier this week.

The winner, who has not yet come forward, bought the Lucky Day Lotto ticket at Mobil, 9660 Golf Rd in Des Plaines., and matched all five numbers – 03 – 07 – 18 – 20 – 24 – in the Dec. 15 evening drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Mobil will receive a $7,500 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The winner has one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize, which they can pick up from Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
