Two lanes have reopened on the outbound Edens Expressway near north suburban Skokie after a semi overturned during Thursday’s morning commute.

The semi rolled over on I-94 near Dempster about 7:20 a.m. and blocked all northbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police.

Three other vehicles were involved in the crash, but no injuries were reported, Skokie Fire Department Deputy Chief Bob Reichert told reporters at the scene. The semi also took out a lightpole.

Two northbound lanes have since reopened and traffic is getting by as of 9 a.m., police said. The far right lane remains closed, and it is not yet known when it will reopen.
