Several people were injured after a crash on an exit ramp from the Kennedy Expressway in the West Town neighborhood early Saturday.
The two-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 3 a.m. on the outbound North Avenue exit ramp of the Kennedy Expressway, according to Fire Media Affairs and Illinois State Police.
At least five people were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, and two of those people had broken bones, police said.
Initial information from Fire Media Affairs listed four people in critical condition and two others in serious condition. Their ages and genders were not disclosed.
The driver of one of the vehicles was charged with aggravated DUI, police said.
