Traffic signal reconstruction began last week on two intersections in north suburban Niles.

Last Thursday, traffic signal reconstruction began at the intersections of Golf Road and Michael Manor and Golf and Washington Roads in Niles. The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2016, according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Drivers can expect delays and should allow extra time when driving through these areas.
